The YUDW’s ongoing collaboration with the Dwight Neighborhood began in 1992 with the development of a comprehensive neighborhood plan, assembled in conjunction with the Dwight Central Management Team. Since that time, the plan’s implementation has resulted in a number of significant projects, including the award-winning community center and assembly hall addition to the Timothy Dwight Elementary School. The YUDW is now helping to oversee construction of another long-awaited daycare center project. Located just up the street from the Dwight School, in the heart of the neighborhood, this 9,000 sq ft facility will include space for 60 infant-toddlers and preschoolers, as well as two adult education classrooms and new office space for the client, the Greater Dwight Development Corporation.
