| MADISON BRADLEY ROAD CORRIDOR STUDY | ||
|
Team: Surry Schlabs, Craig Morton
Working in collaboration with Planimetrics, the YUDW delivered
a brief analysis and report to the town of Madison on the future development
of the Bradley Road corridor, suggesting a view of Bradley Road as an
extension of Madison’s thriving town center district. Taking a cue
from the success of past development along Madison’s Main Street
(the Boston Post Road), the proposal imagined a downtown network of shared
parking lots and access-ways, both pedestrian and vehicular, and suggested
the extension of existing mid-block walkways and parking areas, providing
clear, strategic points of visual and physical access to Tuxis Pond. |
