The YUDW’s ongoing collaboration with the Dwight Neighborhood began in 1992 with the development of a comprehensive neighborhood plan, assembled in conjunction with the Dwight Central Management Team. Since then, the plan’s implementation has resulted in a number of significant projects, including the Greater Dwight Daycare Center & GDDC offices, completed in conjunction with Thompson Edwards Architects in 2007. Located just up the street from the Dwight School, in the heart of the neighborhood, this 10,800 sq ft facility includes space for 60 infants, toddlers and preschoolers, as well as two adult education classrooms and new office space for the Greater Dwight Development Corporation.
