| For Best Quality Scans: | - Do not turn the scanner off, leave the scanner on between uses. - The scanner needs to be calibrated when the images appear very light. See a DM staff member to calibrate the scanner. IMPORTANT: The scanner runs through a calibration process every time it is turned on. If the scanner needs to be restarted, see a DM staff member to use the proper calibration tools. - If a DM staff member is not available, insert a 40" long white strip of paper through the scanner as you start it. Keep the paper in place until the scanner has finished warming up. This can be used as a temporary solution when restarting the scanner. Failure to insert a white strip will cause the scanner to be mis-calibrated and your files will not scan correctly. |
