The studio will study the tradition of Hellenistic, Roman and Muslim baths from an typological, morphological and cultural point of view.
Principles and cultural ideas will be drawn and students will be asked to design a present day spa-centre which may be informed by historical precedent.
Students will visit Marrakech to study relevant architectural and urban design examples.
