Lelyveld, Amy

Ms. Lelyveld is principal of the New York-based firm Amy Lelyveld, Architect, PLLC. She designs residential and institutional work in New York, New Jersey, and Washington states and is the recipient of AIA NY and AIA Seattle design awards. Ms. Lelyveld has traveled extensively in China and does research on the Chinese house in its many permutations, ancient to modern. She directs the School’s undergraduate China program, a collaboration with Tsinghua University’s School of Architecture. Articles by Ms. Lelyveld have appeared in 2G and AD. Prior to teaching at Yale, she taught at Columbia University.
