Mr. Beeby was dean of the School from 1985 until 1992, and director of the School of Architecture at the University of Illinois at Chicago from 1980 to 1985. As principal in charge of design with his own firm, he oversees the planning and design of a variety of projects including Chicago’s Harold Washington Library Center and the Bass Library at Yale. Mr. Beeby received a B.Arch. from Cornell University and an M.Arch. from Yale University.
