Susana La Porta Drago
Susana La Porta Drago is co-founder of La Porta Drago | Zemborain Architects, a practice focusing on the design of large-scale residential, commercial, and urban master plan projects. Prior to this, she was a Partner at Pelli Clarke and Partners where she worked for 30 years and led the design of various award-winning corporate, residential, and institutional projects.
Susana holds a Master of Architecture from Cornell University and a Bachelor of Architecture from the Universidad de Buenos Aires. She has been a guest speaker at Universidad de Belgrano, Universidad de Buenos Aires, Bienal de Arquitectura de Buenos Aires, and Colegio de Arquitectos de Jujuy.
Susana serves as co-chair of the CT AIA Professional Knowledge Community and is a member of NOMA and the Cornell Latino Alumni Association. She is part of a Yale interdisciplinary team that received a Yale Planetary Solutions Project seed grant to study the use of hydroceramics in the building envelope as a passive cooling strategy.
