Tess McNamara

Tess McNamara, AIA is an architect and sustainability consultant working at the intersection of climate change, design, and engineering. Tess is a Senior Sustainability Consultant at Arup in New York City, and on the faculty at both the Yale School of Architecture and Pratt Institute. She has previously worked at Atelier Ten, Bernheimer Architecture, WXY, and Guy Nordenson and Associates. A native New Yorker, Tess graduated Summa Cum Laude from Princeton University with a Bachelor of Arts in Architecture, and received both a Master of Architecture and a Master of Environmental Management from Yale University. While at Yale, Tess was the recipient of the AIA Henry Adams Medal and the Wendy Elizabeth Blanning Prize.
