Beom Jun Kim

Beom Jun Kim is a principal at WA.K Studio, a Brooklyn based architecture and design practice. In addition to projects in New York and Los Angeles, WA.K Studio’s work has been recognized by the Architecture League of New York and was a finalist for the Triangle Fire Memorial Competition in 2013. Beom Jun’s current research and writing focuses on phenomenology and virtual reality and how virtual realities affect the built environment. Beom Jun currently serves on the Board of Directors of the Center for Urban Pedagogy (CUP) in New York City and also teaches at the Spitzer School of Architecture (CUNY). Beom Jun received a BA in Business Economics from the University of California, Los Angeles and an M.Arch from Yale University.
