Project Description

This project’s efficient design is the result of a flexible system in which generous living spaces are produced by the interaction of two panelized systems: utility-bearing walls and the exterior envelope. This system is tailored to respond to specific site conditions, which generated the placement of our entry for each unit and its corresponding territory, as well as formal and physical connection to Columbus House’s adjacent Val Macri apartment complex. The system is enclosed within an exterior membrane that mediates between interior and exterior conditions in order to address specifics of lighting, privacy, and environmental conditions.
