Join Jonathan Hopkins (MED ‘19) as he examines 50 years of redevelopment efforts in the Church Street South neighborhood of New Haven. Designed as an affordable housing development in 1968 by then-Dean of the Yale School of Architecture, Charles Moore, Church Street South is in the midst of a rapid transformation today under a new redevelopment project. The exhibit explores the methods of city planning, the madness of redevelopment, and the meaning to be found in it all.
