A Message from Dean Berke Regarding the Supreme Court Decisions Regarding Admission in Higher Education

Dear Members of the YSoA Community,

If you have not already seen it, I attach President Peter Salovey’s letter to the Yale Community following this morning’s Supreme Court decisions in the Harvard and University of North Carolina cases on the consideration of race in admissions.

I share his concern about impact of these decisions and trust you will reach out to me if you have any questions. The School of Architecture will fully comply with the rulings in our admissions approach, which will continue to focus on each applicant’s potential for achievement in architecture within the rigorous structure of our programs.
